Ian Cumming’s Kitchen

This month we are taking a look at Eadonstone’s Handmade kitchen recently installed at Ian's period cottage. Completely bespoke and handmade in the finest tulip wood and oak.

The in-frame shaker style cupboards and drawers have been finished with gloss lacquer and Mole’s Breath paint from Farrow and Ball which complements the natural grain in the wood. A combination of pewter cup handles and knobs works perfectly in this traditional setting. The red postbox is a personal touch and is actually used as a bread bin!

The worktops throughout the kitchen are beautiful Cosmic Black Satinato Granite. The satinato finish gives the worktop a matte look – great for hiding little finger prints!

The floor also supplied by Eadonstone is called Cathedral Antique Limestone. Limestone is really hard-wearing and ideal for a busy family kitchen.
